Excursion

On Thursday 8th of August we will go by bus from the main venue at 11:00 sharp to travel the Golden Circle tour, making stops at some of Iceland’s most famous landmarks::

Þingvellir National Park – The original parliament grounds of the first viking settlers
Geysir – A beautiful geothermal area showcasing a spouting hot spring
Gullfoss waterfall – One of the largest waterfalls in Iceland belonging to a glacier river
And more if time allows

Lunch is not provided on this trip but we will make a long stop at Geysir in the afternoon which has a nice cafeteria and restaurant. There are also shops at each stop along our way if you want to suddenly buy snacks or drinks.

At the end of the tour (est. 18:00) you will have the option to be dropped off back at the venue or at Sky Lagoon Hot Springs in Reykjavik where we plan to soak and rest for 1-2 hours. So it is a good idea to bring swimwear.
